Experience
Roxby Training has been providing training courses for over
40 years. Our initial
aim was to train staff in engineering disciplines, principally
instrumentation, from
apprentices up to process operators, but we now offer a portfolio
of around 100
short courses in a wide range of disciplines.
Our well-equipped training facility provides the ideal blend
of practical and
theoretical training, with most courses comprising 60% hands-on
experience
and 40% class room-based learning. Where appropriate, we also
try to offer
delegates new to industry a site visit and our long-established
relationships
with local companies are invaluable in this respect. Our instructors
are all fully
qualified and widely experienced.

Facilities
Roxby Training has first class facilities located in Middlesbrough,
the engineering
centre of the north east of England. The premises house an extensive
range
of Electrical and Instrumentation equipment, which has been
chosen to provide
a realistic reflection of the type of equipment likely to be
found in the typical
workplace.
Our success is measured by the amount of repeat business that
we obtain.

ongoing investment in our training facilities and customers’

excellent attitude and performance of our trainers. Delegates

We have found that our 60/40 mix of practical and theoretical
training provides
optimal results by significantly improving trainees’ retention

they have learned.
Many of our courses can also be carried out at customers’
premises,
if preferred, provided that facilities are suitable.

assessment where necessary.
To compliment the competence assessment process we offer ongoing
evaluation
to measure the impact of the training on your company’s

package, working
with you to identify your skill shortages and providing all
of your training either
through our own resources or using our network of associates.
