Safety

Safety is paramount in everything we do at Roxby - and this is no accident!
We have many years of experience in the riskier industries, including petrochemical, oil and gas, both onshore and offshore, and high voltage electricity. During both project and maintenance work in these environments we have won many safety awards, which include:

• 10 years and 1,000,000 man hours on an oil refinery without a lost time accident
• 500,000 hours on a chemical plant without a lost time accident
• 100,000 hours during the construction of an FPSO (floating production and storage offshore) platform.

We have also had over 7 years without a RIDDOR recordable accident.

It is not by luck that these statistics have been achieved. Instead we ensure we have a proper system of work for everything we do, and every employee understands that safety comes before anything else.

We encourage all employees to draw our attention to potentially unsafe occurrences or near misses so that everybody can learn from them.
