| Rope Access
Rope
access is, quite simply, a form of work positioning. It uses
specialised rope techniques to place workers in many disciplines
in hard to reach locations. The benefits it offers, however,
compared with more traditional methods of access, such as scaffolding,
are both simple and very attractive.
Rope access systems can be installed and dismantled rapidly
by the same technician who undertakes the work. The systems
cause minimal disruption to building occupants, pedestrians
and traffic flow. Also, they have an excellent safety record
– our methods are fully recognised by the Health &
Safety Executive and exceed statutory requirements laid down
by the Industrial Rope Access Trade Association.
Consequently, rope access systems provide a practical, extremely
safe and cost-effective access solution for a variety of applications,
such as window cleaning, inspection and testing, maintenance
and repair, surface preparation and painting plus construction
and geotechnical works.
Roxby Services work in close collaboration with each individual
client to identify the appropriate access applications for their
needs and provides a range of specialist staff with a wealth
of knowledge and experience gained over many years working on
the oil and gas industry throughout the world, both onshore
and offshore.
