Plant Integrity & Diagnostics -> Camera Inspection

There are many ways in which the integrity of pipelines can be checked. Guided ultrasonics, digital radiography and pig tracking are dealt with elsewhere on this website, but camera inspection provides yet another option.

This technique is particuarly useful in identifying existing blockages or the build-up of unwanted deposits which can lead to future problems, and for giving a basic view inside areas that cannot be accessed otherwise.

Roxby Services can provide camera inspection either via a camera mounted on a pneumatically-operated pig or via a borescope type camera. Much of our technology in the pigging camera field has been developed in partnership with Durham Pipeline Technology.
