NEBOSH Certificate Fire Safety & Risk Management

Introduction

The NEBOSH Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management is a qualification for those with fire safety responsibilities in the workplace. A fire can have a devastating effect on anorganisation; 77% of businesses experiencing a major fire never fully recover. The updated duties under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 place the responsibility on employers and those in control of premises to ensure that they assess fire risks and take steps to minimise those risks and safeguard people in the event of a fire.

 

Aim

The NEBOSH Fire Safety and Risk Management Certificate is designed to equip holders to help their organisations to meet these legal duties. This requirement to meet legislation makes this an ideal qualification to bring to an employer.

 

Is The Qualification Recognised?

The qualification meets the academic requirements to apply for Associate membership (AIIRSM) of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM). The NEBOSH National Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management is accredited at Level 3 within the National Qualification Framework (NQF) by the Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulator (Ofqual) in England.

The course is 5 days in duration.

Various UK Locations available.  
 
Optimum Number:
A maximum of 8 delegates per course.
 
Course Language:
The course is delivered in English, therefore candidates must have good standards of both written and verbal English.  Courses can be delivered in other languages, however this would need to be discussed prior to acceptance on the course.  It is the responsibility of the person making the booking to make Roxby aware of this requirement.
