The aim of the course is to provide mechanical personnel with the knowledge of potentially explosive atmospheres which provides successful candidates with an internationally recognised certificate of core competence which corresponds to Unit Ex11.

Course Duration

The course is 3 days in duration.

PowerPoint, videos, photographs, information handouts.

Assessments

Day 3 of the course includes a multi choice question paper for which course delegates are allowed 1 ½ hours.

Additionally two practical assessments are undertaken; a fault-finding inspection of a pump motor unit; and a pressure installation task on a pipe rig. Duration for both exercises combined totals around 2 ½ hours.
