Transformer rectifiers

Over the years, Dynamics has continuously built up and improved a large number of designs for transformer rectifier units, all of which are manufactured in-house by a team of specialist operators.

The units can be thyristor, variac or switch control. Thyristor control units are automatic, manual, or manual with constant current or constant voltage. Variac control units can be manual or motor driven. Switch control units are either 63 step, 25 step or 16 step. For lower output ranges we can also offer switch mode units if specified. All units can be air cooled, oil cooled or ventilated.

In addition we also produce transformer rectifier units that are suitable for use in hazardous areas. These can be for Zone 1 purged, Exe d or Zone 2 oil cooled.

We have a team of qualified installation staff available when required.
